About Our Team
Bethany and Jaila are the very proud owners of Pawsitively Happy Pet Services. They have both worked for Pawsitively Happy Pet Services over the years, and are excited to be able to continue to grow this company. We are extremely grateful that you have inquired with PHPS! PHPS was formed in 2019 with the mission of providing the best in home pet care in the STL metro east area. That’s exactly what we pride ourselves on each and every day.
As you will notice each of our team members have a vast variety of pet care experiences that make them all unique. This is one of the key factors that makes PHPS so special, “purrs”onalization! Please feel free to read a little bit about each of them below for some more information.

Bethany Ellington - Co-Owner
Hello, my name is Bethany I am 21 years old. I graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in 2022 and am now working at a bank in the surrounding area as a teller. I am working to become a financial service representative in the next year. I’ve been with PHPS since June of 2023 and am so excited and proud to be a co-owner of this wonderful company. I am a huge animal lover we have always had dogs in my house particularly big dogs. At the moment we have 1 dog a Mastiff Shepard mix named Smokey. I have lots of experience with dogs and I also have experience with cats, guinea pigs, and a little bit of experience with birds. When I'm not working, I love to go out with friends or find something new to try. I love art especially Painting and drawing ,but I love ceramics too. Makeup is another form of art I absolutely love and do quite often. I'm very social and don't mind talking to or meeting new people so don't be afraid to come up and say hi if you can. I'm very excited to be working with all types of animals daily!

Jaila Guy - Co-Owner
Hello, my name is Jaila! I have a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University, and I am currently a first year law student at Saint Louis University School of Law. I have been working for PHPS since 2021, and I am so proud to be able to now call myself a co-owner of this company. Most of my animal experience is with dogs and cats, but through this company I have been able to interact with all different types of animals and learn about them! I currently have a furbaby of my own. He is an Aussie doodle named Roscoe! When I am not working with PHPS, I am studying for law school or just hanging out with my little buddy, Roscoe! I’m very excited to be venturing on this journey with Bethany, and I cannot wait to continue to serve our wonderful community. I look forward to taking care of your furry friends!

Kaitlyn Plaisted
Hello, my name is Kaitlyn! I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Western Kentucky University. I am currently getting my masters in Exercise and Sport Psychology at SIUE. I just recently started working at PHPS but I have already had such a good time with all the fur babies! Most of my experience is with dogs and cats, but I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life. When I’m not working I’m reading, playing volleyball, or hanging out with friends!

Eden Rochman
Hello, I’m Eden, a high school senior at OTHS. I have been petsitting, walking dogs, and fostering cats for over 4 years. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. At home, I have a 16 year old terrier, two cats, and the never ending cycle of adorable foster kittens.

Madelyn Breeding
My name is Madelyn Breeding, I am 18 years old and graduated from OTHS in December 2021—Graduated from Body Therapy School of Massage in January of 2023. I love animals and have many years of experience caring for various pets. I spend a lot of my time studying or going out with friends and family.

Aidan Wolter
My name is Aidan Wolter. I'm 24 years old, and I have been working for Pawsitively Happy Pet Services since February 2024. I have also lived with pets my whole life! Some of the animals I have had include cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, and birds! I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022 with a degree in Philosophy. In my free time I enjoy writing and playing bass!
